A former spokesperson of the now-defunct Atiku-Okowa Presidential Campaign Council, Daniel Bwala, mentioned that the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, might be troubled by a recent meeting between former President Olusegun Obasanjo and First Lady Remi Tinubu.
Bwala conveyed this message via a statement using his X handle on Thursday.
He suggested that the interaction captured in a photo of Tinubu’s wife with Obasanjo could keep Obi up at night.
In a recent visit, Obasanjo paid Sallah homage to Remi Tinubu, following a previous public appearance sporting a cap with Tinubu’s emblem.
Regarding Obasanjo’s meeting with Remi Tinubu, Bwala noted that some Pentecostal bishops have distanced themselves from Obi.
“This image might cause some restless nights for Mr P, also known as ‘Greengory’ – @PeterObi. I can confirm that three influential Pentecostal Bishops have withdrawn their support due to his ‘take back your country’ rhetoric.”
Bwala remarked
He further added,
“Even my respected uncle, Pat Utomi, is likely to follow suit. Remember my words.”
