The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Ganduje mentioned that the party is aiming to secure victories in more states by 2027.
Speaking at a policy roundtable called ‘The Asiwaju Scorecard Series’ in Abuja on Tuesday, Ganduje highlighted that the APC leadership is in the process of transforming the party into a genuinely grassroots progressive organization.
The National Working Committee, NWC, under his guidance, has instructed state chapters to collaborate with governors and other stakeholders to establish fully operational offices in every political ward and state.
This initiative aims to provide symbolic representation to members in their local communities. Additionally, a reconciliation committee has been set up by the NWC to mend any internal party disputes, operating at state, local government, and ward levels.
Ganduje emphasized the party’s readiness for the future by stating,
Though it is not election season yet, we are revitalizing the party to ensure that by 2027, we will maintain current state governors and elect new ones, along with re-electing the President to continue implementing government policies and programs.”
Ganduje
"Establishing operational offices in every political ward and state will empower our members nationwide to have a symbolic presence in their local communities.
“This step will guarantee that party events are organized throughout the year, not just limited to political campaigns and elections.”
