Aliko Dangote, the Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Refinery, announced on Sunday that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation no longer holds a 20% stake in the refinery.
The wealthiest individual in Africa mentioned this while addressing reporters in Lagos State.
As per his statement, the NNPC no longer holds a 20% share in the Dangote refinery.
Despite being due to settle the remaining amount in June, they have not met their obligations yet. Presently, their ownership in the refinery stands at 7.2%.
