President Bola Tinubu has resumed his official duties at the Villa, a day after returning from his overseas trip. The presidency released a video capturing Tinubu accompanied by his security aides, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and other aides as he walked from his residence to his office.
Tinubu’s trip began with an invitation from Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte to the Netherlands on April 23rd, where he engaged with the Nigerian-Dutch business community. He then attended the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, aiming to attract more investors to Nigeria. Following the WEF meeting, Tinubu embarked on a private visit to Europe before returning to Nigeria on Wednesday, after more than two weeks abroad.
Governors Uba Sani of Kaduna and Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau states paid visits to the President on Thursday, though the purpose of their visits remains undisclosed.
