A professor of political economy, Professor Pat Utomi, shared how his OPIC agreement was allegedly revoked by former Ogun State governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun.
In response, Amosun criticized Utomi for what he perceived as an entitlement mentality. Utomi highlighted the issue after Amosun claimed a Chinese company provided false information during his tenure as governor.
This led to a Paris court seizing three Nigerian government jets over a dispute involving the Chinese firm.
Despite efforts to resolve the matter with Amosun, Utomi found no resolution.
Amosun refuted Utomi’s claims, stating that the Ogun State House of Assembly had steer clear of Utomi due to questionable business dealings in the state.
Amosun defended his actions, mentioning discrepancies in Utomi’s construction project and asserting his commitment to transparency and accountability in governance.
