Data Deletion Instructions

 

At Roven News, we respect your privacy and provide a transparent way for you to manage the data associated with your account, especially when using Facebook Login.

 

If you wish to delete your user activities and personal data from our platform, you can do so by following these simple steps:

 

Option 1: Deleting via Facebook Settings

 

  1. Go to your Facebook Profile’s Settings & Privacy > Settings.

  2. Look for "Apps and Websites" in the left-hand menu.

  3. Find Roven News in the list and click the Remove button.

  4. (Optional) Check the box that says "Delete posts, videos or events Roven News posted on your timeline" and click Remove again.

 

Option 2: Request Manual Deletion

 

If you would like us to manually purge all your data (including your email, name, and reading history) from our internal servers, please follow these steps:

 

  1. Send an email to admin@rovennews.com from the email address associated with your account.

  2. Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request - [Your Name]".

  3. Once we receive your request, our team will verify your identity and delete all your personal information from our database within [e.g., 72 hours].

  4. You will receive a confirmation email once the process is complete.

 

 

What data will be deleted?

 

Upon a successful deletion request, we will remove:

 

  • Your full name and profile picture URL.

  • Your registered email address.

  • Any saved articles or personalized news preferences.

  • Any log data linked specifically to your user ID.
